Planned Economy Era

1963-1992

During this period, the Company was founded under China’s national material allocation system reform, responsible for distributing state-allocated materials. By the late 1980s, annual revenue exceeded 500 million yuan, with profits surpassing 10 million yuan.

Initial Transition Phase

1993-2002

With the retreat of the planned economy and abolition of the material allocation system, the Company embarked on transformational reforms. By 2002, revenue exceeded 5 billion yuan, achieving tenfold growth over the decade.

1996: Became exclusive agency partner for four pilot steel plants (Ansteel, Shougang Group, Wuhan Iron and Steel, Ma Steel)

2003-2015

Implementing mixed-ownership reform in line with the Fourth Plenary Session of the 15th CPC Central Committee, the Company expanded from steel trading to full industry value chain services and global bulk commodity operations.
